P0128 Coolant Control Valve (Mazda TSB 01-009/21)
2.5L SkyActiv engines use an electric coolant control valve instead of a traditional wax pellet thermostat. An internal motor seal leak shorts the valve, triggering P0128. Mazda released an updated valve assembly (#PYFB-15-16Z).
