P0016: Crankshaft Position – Camshaft Position Correlation (Bank 1 Sensor A)

The ECM continuously compares the pulse signals from the Crankshaft Position Sensor (CKP) to the Camshaft Position Sensor (CMP). Each pulse must align within a calibrated angular window (typically ±4 degrees of crankshaft rotation). If the relationship exceeds mechanical tolerances, P0016 is set.
